xMOISSANITE: Made from silicon carbide, moissanite is a lab-created gem that is often used as a diamond alternative because of its durability, sparkling appearance, and affordable price tag. Moissanite was first discovered in a meteor crater in 1893 by a scientist named Henri Moissan.
Today, moissanite is extremely rare and almost exclusively growing in laboratories as an alternative to diamonds. Created in a controlled environment with advanced technology, it is easily traceable and requires no mining. This means moissanite has a smaller carbon footprint and lessened environmental impact than a naturally mined gem.
Moissanite is often used as a diamond simulant, being the second most durable gem (9,25 Mohs Scale of hardness). This is why they are a great "diamond" alternative.
Distinguishing moissanite and diamond based on brilliance and fire isn't reliable; unless you have experience in the jewelry industry, you wont be able to tell the difference just based on appearance.
Increasingly popular as an alternative to real and very expensive diamonds, Moissanite is now widely used in jewelry, especially as the center stone of engagement rings.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
